Fiverr is one of the most popular freelancing micro jobs website in the world. More than 3 million gigs are listed on fiverr, it is the first step for almost everyone who is looking for quick and cheap gigs.
Being top platform certainly has its advantages, but there are also solid reasons to check out fiverr alternatives like:
-Expanding the Gig Audience (combining fiverr with several alternatives)
-Lower Commission (fiverr takes 20% cut, some alternatives take considerably less)
-Niche Specific Gigs (some gigs may go better in specialized platforms)
Many of the websites in our list use the so called fiverr-script, but there are also others that are unique in their own way.
No matter what website you choose, it is imperative to do homework about each platform and engage once you feel confident. Our advice is to use fiverr and few alternatives that work the best with your gigs.
Here is the list with fiverr being the first one featured:
One of the world's largest marketplace for services, starting at $5 per gig. Primarily used by freelancers who use it to offer a variety of different services, and by customers to buy those services. It effectively acts as micro task marketplace.
This UK based freelancing platform is a great place where freelancers can find projects and submit proposals. PPH is established and very active freelancing marketplace and excellent fiverr alternative.
This fiverr alternative is specialized in SEO (search engine optimization) gigs. Be aware that there are many shady gigs listed there, directly violating Google Webmaster Guidelines. But it’s also an excellent platform to post and sell legit gigs.
The largest non-English (Spanish) platform for all kinds of gigs. Very popular and a must for everyone who speaks the Spanish language. The gigs are listed in EUROS (5-500) and it has really nice and neat user interface.
Its a place for literally all kinds of gigs (shady and legit ones). At the end of 2014 this platform showed slight decrease in popularity. Nevertheless its still worth checking out as there are tons of gigs and uses the famous fiverr script.
The name says it all. Instead of five buck this site lists gigs starting at four. It has very nice and smooth user interface and they are not hiding the fact they are fiverr copycat. They even advertise that they are buck cheaper.
One of the best fiverr alternatives using familiar interface. The site has lots of traffic and tons of gigs. It has very nice and tweaked User Interface, definitely worth checking out.
Another popular fiverr alternative using fiverr script. The gigs are priced from $4-$100 and they have interesting enhancement called “bump”, which means you can BUMP your gig to the front page once per day.
Australian based freelance platform which can be described as something like a hybrid between Fiverr and Elance/oDesk. The the majority of listings are for smaller tasks as opposed to big project-based work.
Like it name says, All kinds of gigs for ten bucks. another site using fiverr script that was showing promise up till 2013, but recently looks inactive, abandoned and it does not seem to be regularly updated.
Another fiverr copycat using fiverr script. What makes this site different from the cloud is good loyalty program. You can advance to level 2 with only 20 services that have positive review. Which opens additional selling options.
Although we don’t know how they come up with the numbers, they advertise themselves as:
Share things you like to do for $3, $5, $6, $9, $12, $15, $18, $21, $24, $27, $30, $45, $54, $60, $72, $84, $90 and $100
This fiverr clone advertises itself as “The digital services ecommerce”, although not crowded as some other fiverr alternatives, it is certainly worth checking out.
Definitely worth checking out, as this site has been growing slowly but steady since its inception in 2010. he gigs can be listed from $2-$100 and there is absolutely no commission for five dollar gigs.
Excellent fiverr alternative available in English, French and Spanish. The site uses familiar user interface and they advertise themselves as: “Microjobs site where you can Buy and Sell and in the same time have Fun!”
Another site using fiverr script, but with lots and lots of shady gigs. Use it at your own risk.
Yet another site that was setup using fiverr script which is updated occasionally.
A place with fiverr script for people to share things they're willing to do for $5, $10 and $20.
This clone with fiverr script allows you to post gigs from 5 bucks onwards. Just like above three sites it gets updated occasionally without noticeable action.
This website is a breath of fresh air as it has very appealing user interface. The gigs can be posted from $3 to 100 bucks. The only downside is that it needs more activity, but certainly worth checking out.
